Q. What are the deadlines for renewing/joining the Cowboy Joe Club?

To be eligible for Cowboy Joe Club benefits, including parking and seating, all renewing members or new members must contribute by June 30th. Any gift received after June 30th will still count towards membership – but those gifts may receive limited benefits.

BACK

Q. Do I have to pay the entire amount of my pledge by June 30th?

We prefer that members pay their pledge in full by the June 30th deadline, but members are able to elect for monthly, quarterly, or semi‐annual payments by setting up an automatic preauthorized payment schedule. If a member’s pledge is on the payment automatic schedule, which requires preauthorized deduction of a credit card or checking account, they will be eligible for all benefits.

Q. If I bought season tickets in a priority seating section, will I be required to make a donation on an annual basis, in addition to purchasing season tickets, or is it a one-time charge?

In order to receive seating in a priority seating section, you will be required to make the minimum per seat annual charitable contribution by June 30th in addition to the cost of the season tickets. However, if you “owned” the same season tickets before the priority seating plans were implemented (prior to 2008) then you are granted “loyalty status” or grandfathered for as long as you continue to renew the seats.

BACK

Q. Can I designate gifts to go toward particular sports, programs or other more specific purposes?

Only non-restricted gifts to the Cowboy Joe Club, W-Club or Steer-A-Year program count towards membership and its benefits, but you may designate your gift to any one of the  seventeen athletic programs, capital campaign projects or endowment funds and those gifts will count towards your lifetime giving total.

BACK

Q. If I give the minimum required, am I guaranteed a Stadium Lot Parking Permit?

Due to an increase in donors and a greater effort to treat our donors in a fair, equitable and
consistent manner, we have an allocation process based on priority points and giving level.
We will allocate each parking lot by the donor’s selection until that lot is full. After that lot is
full, the donor will receive the next best selection and so on and so forth.

Please remember the Stadium Lot only has 652 spaces available making it harder to attain.

BACK

Q. How do I know what parking permit I will receive?

All members of the Cowboy Joe Club who are paid in full or on an automatic deduction
plan by June 30th can rest assured that they are guaranteed a parking place for all home
football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball games. Your permit allocation will be
based off of your selection, giving level and priority point rank.

BACK

Q.  How do I "Cowboy Up" and what are the benefits?

All new members of the Cowboy Joe Club at the $100 or above level are automatically enrolled as a “Cowboy Up” member. Any renewing members can also become a “Cowboy Up” member by increasing their giving at least one membership level. “Cowboy Up” members are offered a unique Cowboy Joe Club incentive hat, as well as special invites and gifts throughout the year.

BACK

Q. How can I help Cowboy Joe reach 5,000 members?

We have introduced a new member referral program called the “Drive for Five” where current Cowboy Joe Club members can recruit new CJC members at the minimum $100 level and above, and in turn help themselves with bonus priority points (10 points for first new member paid, 5 points for every new member paid thereafter) as well as receiving a unique Cowboy Joe Club incentive hat. You can start recruiting members right now, just make sure when they make their donation they note your account name and account number as who referred them.
