The Poke Priority Point System
THE GOAL is to reward longtime
supporters of Wyoming Athletics while allowing new
donors and season ticket holders to acquire appropriate benefits in recognition
of their support
of student-athletes.
FORMULA: Benefits are allocated in a fair, equitable and consistent
manner using the
Athletic Department’s Poke Priority Point System. The formula for earning
priority points
is based off of five simply definable annual commitments, as well as five
additional one-time
allocations:
Annual Points Earned
1 Lifetime Giving – 1 point for every $100 contributed to Wyoming Athletics (all
gifts, including sponsorship commitments, Wildcatter Stadium Club & Suite
payments, endowment gifts, memorial gifts, and capital campaign contributions)
1 Season Tickets – 1 point for each season ticket consecutively purchased
within football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball (maximum of 10 points
per sport)
3 Cowboy Joe Club Membership – 3 points for every consecutive year as a
minimum $100 member
5 Online Join/Renewal – 5 points for joining or renewing annual
membership online as well as ordering season tickets online.
10 Drive for Five Volunteer Fundraising – 10 points for the first
recruited new member solicited and paid and 5 bonus priority points for each new
recruited member solicited and paid there after.
One-Time Points Earned
10 UW Graduate (Per degree, Max. 30 )
10 UW Employee
25 UW Student-Athlete Alumni
25 CJC Board of Director
25 CJC Board of Director’s President
BOTTOM LINE To increase your number of priority points and subsequent
ranking:
• Increase your annual Cowboy Joe Club membership as much as possible
(1 point per $100)
• Recruit as many new Cowboy Joe Club members as possible
(10 points for first, 5 points for each additional)
• Purchase season tickets for football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball
(1 point per ticket)
